This quote wonderfully summarizes the experience of living and working here, with it’s thriving art communities. The naturally inspired patterns of wildlife, plants and scenery meet forms that are designed to be a joy to use every day. Details like dock cleats and nylon paracord, or cantdogs and bolts reference the working aspects of life in Maine as both a visual and tactile element. Every piece is made of porcelain, but unlike the fine china used maybe once in a decade, these are designed with modern living in mind. They are dishwasher safe, and some can be used in the oven as well. These pieces are meant to bring moments of beauty and appreciation into the simple aspects of everyday living. Have a favorite coffee cup, a teapot for that special looseleaf you brew to treat yourself and relax, fill a vase with things from your yard, just because. Art and beauty do not need to be reserved for exclusive outings and extra special occasions, do things because you unabashedly enjoy life every day.

I am accepting orders in an effort to fundraise after an emergency vet bill setback, and continue building up a down payment and studio build-out costs. This website is being redesigned to make pre-orders available for purchase, as a means to fundraise recovering from my cat’s emergency surgery, and buy a home to run all of my equipment to begin making work again. The prices listed here are a special offer for this effort and do not indicate what the cost will be when production resumes. Images of finished work will remain as they are for the time being, and samples will be added for missing colors. Additional forms will be shown in raw clay, with the samples of each color variation.
